Frame broken !
The rear stays on my city bike have separated from the seat post, giving the bike an unexpected rear suspension feel... It is now at Withington Cycles, where frame builder Malc Cowle will be braising it back together.

National Bike Week 1-5.30pm, Sat 12th June, New Cathedral Gardens, sponsored fancy dress cycle from Albert Square to New Cathedral Gardens raising money for the British Heart Foundation - Hoot For Your Heart - all cyclists will have hooters to raise awareness as they travel through the city centre, plus stalls, music, a variety of bikes, street theatre and kids holding banners.

Recumbent Tricycle
My latest aquisition (via ebay) is a Trice XL NT.
Like most recumbents it is fast (but maybe not quite as fast as a windcheetah). However when hill climbing, you get no aerodynamic benefit, but are slowed up by the extra weight.
This Trice is very comfortable, but not easily foldable (as the Hase Lepus is, or more recent Trices may be).
So far I have cycled it home from Birmingham (80 miles) and some local trips - hope to make it to Cyclefest with it in august
